Residential Demolition
Standard Single-Storey House Demolition
Demolishing a single-storey home takes careful planning, the right machinery and an experienced crew. The structure is dismantled in a controlled sequence so materials can be safely separated, loaded, transported and disposed of.
We manage the whole process from site establishment through to the final clean-up, under the appropriate safety controls and in line with the approved demolition methodology.
Typical starting-price inclusions
- Site establishment and temporary fencing
- Loading and removal of demolition waste
- Demolition permit and required approvals
- Transport to approved waste facilities
- Controlled demolition of the dwelling
- Separation of recyclable materials where practical
- Removal of standard house footings and slabs
- Final site clean-up ready for the next stage
Important pricing noteEvery property is different. Final pricing depends on the building size and construction, site access, surrounding structures, slab and footing details, waste volumes and disposal requirements. This starting price assumes no asbestos, hazardous or contaminated material is present. A site inspection is required before a fixed quotation can be provided.

Fire-Damaged Asbestos Contaminated Home
A fire-damaged home containing asbestos needs a highly controlled demolition and removal process. Fire can damage bonded asbestos materials and spread asbestos-contaminated dust and debris right through the building and surrounding areas.
Where the asbestos has become friable, the work must be done by a licensed Class A asbestos removal contractor. An independent licensed asbestos assessor handles air monitoring, clearance inspections and issues the final clearance certificate.
Typical starting-price inclusions
- Site establishment and exclusion zones
- Safe containment of contaminated material
- Independent asbestos assessor / hygienist
- Transport to an approved waste facility
- Air monitoring during removal works
- Waste tracking documentation
- Controlled demolition of the structure
- Final clearance inspection and certificate
Important pricing noteEvery property is different. Final pricing depends on building size, fire damage, the extent and classification of asbestos contamination, site access, waste volumes and disposal requirements. A site inspection and asbestos assessment are required before a fixed quotation can be provided.
Asbestos-Contaminated Soil Removal

This is specialist work and Safe Way can manage the lot: licensed supervision, independent asbestos assessor, air monitoring, controlled excavation, approved transport, disposal documentation and the final clearance requirements.

The rate is a starting guide only. A site inspection and review of the contamination report are required before a fixed quotation can be provided.
